(T.T.H.P) Tactical Tourniquet Holster Pouch aka the tactical mitt, was a concept born out of necessity.  Specifically designed for CCW index carry, it solves problems that are common.  Perhaps the biggest problem that needs to be addressed from the beginning is the IWB Kydex holster. The Kydex holster pinches, rubs, and jams into the skin.

There are many holsters on the market but to give up a Kydex holster is not something many will want to do. And the thing is, there is no need to give it up. Keep your holster and make it more comfortable with a tactical mitt.
After testing the mitt, we have found the comfort level significantly increase while driving, sitting in different positions, walking, running, working, and training.   If we train from concealment, be it through dry fire or on the range, we want it to be practical and have the repetitions count.  Because the mitt increases overall comfort, these activities become more enjoyable.

The second issue we found to be true was the hot barrel burns when practicing from concealment. After fifty rounds or so on average, that pistol barrel starts to heat up. This is another problem the tactical mitt tackles. With additional heat-resistant material between the skin and barrel, practicing from concealment became far more practical and hands-on.

“As someone who works in construction, welding, and doing deliveries around the city, the sweat constantly got into the holster.  The mitt has cut down on that significantly by creating an extra barrier between the skin and the Kydex holster.” -Lee

Another significant add-on to the model L and XL is the option to add a RATS tourniquet that can be pre-loaded into the pouch.  In certain situations, it is not a bad idea to have a tourniquet that can be accessed by either hand for an emergency.

"At first, I designed the TTHP for personal use. However, after seeing the problems over and over while on the range, I decided to experiment, improve and release the product for use to others.” -Lee
